THE TOUKOLA NURSERY AND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN SIUNTIO, FINLAND

With only seven classrooms the school is part of the Alexis Kivi unit was designed and built in a very short time in an existing building in the centre of the village, previously used as a library.

Although the means were very limited the small school unit was enlivened with recessed entrances to the classrooms, accentuated with bright, easily recognised colours.
