OPERA HOTEL, HANOI

The site for the project is located adjacent to the Opera Building, a low, small-scale replica of the Opera in Paris. To fit in with its surroundings, the project was designed on only four floors, but with a very dense and compact structure.

The vertical light in Hanoi is very strong and allowed for a solution whereby all the hotel rooms are provided with a balcony, also protecting the rooms from the intense light.

The sketch design was approved for further development in Hanoi, but another investment firm took over the site, building a 12-storey hotel.
